The Community Affairs Committee will hold a ‘Soup & Salad Dinner’ fundraiser on Saturday, February 28th 2015 at MacQueen Hall. Homemade vegetable soup, chili, chicken & dumplings – salad bar, dessert and drink will be available for All-U-Can-Eat at MacQueen Hall from 4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
Cost: $8 Adults, $6 Seniors and $4 Kids under 12. Tickets are available at the Borough Office or at the door.
To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the “Community Affairs Committee” will hold a FREE Ham & Cabbage with potatoes luncheon for ALL Upland Borough Senior Citizens at MacQueen Hall on Monday, March 16th 2015 starting at noon.
7:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.
The “Community Affairs Committee” will hold a “Oldies But Goodies Dance” fundraiser on Saturday, March 21st 2015 at MacQueen Hall. There will be a DJ! Also includes Beer, Wine, Set-ups, Food & Dance Contest. The cost is $25 per person. Tickets are available in the Borough Office and/or contact Sandra Miazza at (610) 876-4430.

Photo ID’s for Borough Children
Noon – 2:00 p.m.
Upland Borough will be having a photo session for borough children ages 6-15 at MacQueen Hall on Saturday, March 28, 2015 from Noon until 2:00 p.m.
Children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian who must sign and provide proof of residency.
Please note that beginning in 2015, borough photo ID’s will be required for borough children to participate in any borough sponsored activities.
Additional photo sessions for borough children will be offered, as needed.
On Saturday, 4/4/15 the “Annual Easter Egg Hunt” for Borough Children will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Ball Field (Bristol Lord Field) located at 6th & Main Streets.

The “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” will be held at MacQueen Hall at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost: Adults – $5.00 and Children (12 and under) – FREE with a Borough ID Card. The charges for children (12 and under) without a Borough ID is $3.00. Pictures will be taken with the Easter Bunny for $3.00. All proceeds fund “The Community Affairs Committee”.
The “Community Affairs Committee” will be having a FREE Breakfast for Borough Seniors (over 62 years old) on Monday, May 4, 2015 at MacQueen Hall starting at 10:00 a.m. The menu will be: Scrambled Eggs, Hash Browns, Sausage, Pancakes, Toast, Coffee & Tea.

The Annual Memorial Day Parade will start at Upland Baptist Church on Monday, May 26th 2015 beginning at 9:00 a.m. and will conclude at the War Memorial located at Bristol Lord Field (6th & Main Streets).

The annual Memorial Day Picnic sponsored by Resurrection Life Church and Upland Baptist Church will be held in Bristol Lord Field at 6th & Main Streets following the Memorial Day Parade (11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). Join us for FREE hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, chips, drinks, desserts and face painting.
11:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
The “Annual July 4th Festivities” for Upland Borough residents will start at 11:00 a.m. in Bristol Lord Field (located at 6th & Main Streets). Please note that you must be a current resident of the borough to participate. Please join us for FREE hot dogs, chips, soft pretzels, water ice, candy and drinks! Entertainment will include a DJ, Face Painting and games (moon-bounces & pony rides)!
3:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
The “Community Affairs Committee” will be having a FREE “Magic Show” beginning at 3:00 p.m. for Borough Youth at MacQueen Hall. Afterwards, a “Pizza Party” and “Ice Cream Bar” will be served. Must show proof of residence to attend!
Dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.)
Fireworks will be held in “Bristol Lord Field” located at 6th & Main Streets beginning at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) on Sunday, September 6, 2015. Borough Roads surrounding the area will be closed beginning at 7:00 p.m. until the Fireworks are completed. Refreshments (hot dogs, soft pretzels, candy and beverages) and glow sticks will be sold by the Upland Fire Company.
“Annual Spaghetti Dinner”
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The “Annual Spaghetti Dinner” will be held at MacQueen Hall located at 224 Castle Avenue starting at 4:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. The meal includes: spaghetti, meatballs, salad bar, garlic bread, dessert & beverages. Take-Out is available! Tickets are available at the Municipal Office and the prices are as follows:
- Under 10 – $4.00
- Senior – $6.00
- Adult – $8.00

“Annual Halloween Party”
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The “Annual Youth Halloween Party” will be held at MacQueen Hall between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for borough youth up to 13 years of age. Music, refreshments and prizes for best costume! Must provide your Upland Borough ID card or proof of residence for entrance.

The “Community Affairs Committee” will be having a FREE Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner for Borough Seniors (over 62 years old) on Saturday, November 14th 2015 at MacQueen Hall starting at 6:00 p.m. Borough Seniors that wish to attend must register at the Municipal Offices . The Municipal Office is located at 224 Castle Avenue, Upland and is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.
Resurrection Life Church – 11th Annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The members of Resurrection Life invite everyone to come and enjoy a FREE traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potato, sweet potato, green beans, cranberry sauce and pie. Guests may eat in the dining hall or have their dinner boxed to take home. Transportation and/or delivery are not available. Resurrection Life is located at the corner of Eighth and Church Streets.
All borough residents are invited to join us for the “Annual Holiday Tree Lighting” to be held at Bristol Lord Field located at Castle Avenue and Main Street at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served immediately following the tree lighting ceremony at MacQueen Hall. Santa will also be making an appearance for all borough youth 10 years old and under. In order for Santa to have a gift available, parents/guardians must sign-up their child. Forms will be available in the Municipal Building Office beginning in October 2015. The completed forms must be dropped off to the Municipal Building Office no later than Friday, November 6th 2015.
The Church Street Thrift Shop – Resurrection Life Church
Open the 1st & 2nd Saturday of each month from 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
(Closed July & August)
The shop’s purpose is to provide residents of the local communities with a convenient and caring place to purchase good quality used items at a reasonable cost. These items include clothing for all ages, toys, books, holiday and household items. Proceeds benefit RLC’s Community Outreach Programs and Building Fund projects.
