Honoring Hometown Heros

The Borough hopes to launch a streetscape project to honor hometown military veterans by hanging Hometown Hero flags throughout the borough in May 2018 until the Holiday Season starts. Once the flags come down from display, it will go to the ordering borough family.

While the exact cost has not yet been determined since it depends on the amount of flags ordered; council may split the cost which would require a $75 donation per flag from each ordering borough family.  Each flag will require a photograph of the serviceman/woman; branch of service; and dates of service and/or theater of operation.

Since a minimum of 40 flags is required, please contact the Borough Office at (610) 874-7317 for additional information and to sign up. The Borough will be placing the order in Spring of 2018.
