To Celebrate St. Patrick’s Day, the “Community Affairs Committee” will hold a FREE Ham & Cabbage with potatoes luncheon for ALL Upland Borough Senior Citizens at MacQueen Hall on Monday, March 11th 2019 starting at noon.
Saturday, 4/20/19: The “Annual Easter Egg Hunt” for Borough Children will start at 9:00 a.m. in the Ball Field (Bristol Lord Field) located at 6th & Main Streets.

The “Breakfast with the Easter Bunny” will be held at MacQueen Hall at 9:30 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. The cost: Adults – $5.00 and Children (12 and under) – FREE with a borough ID card and $3.00 without….Pictures will be taken with the Easter Bunny for $3.00. All proceeds fund “The Community Affairs Committee”.

Time Capsule Dedication
The Sesquicentennial Time Capsule dedication will be held at Castle Avenue and Main Streets (flag pole) on Friday, May 24, 2019 at 6:00 p.m. The Time Capsule will be filled with various items from Upland Borough organizations.
A “Sesquicentennial Dinner” will be held at MacQueen Hall on Friday, May 24, 2019.
Cocktails and Hors D’Oeuvres begin at 5:30 p.m. in Borough Hall Council Chambers with a break for the “Time Capsule Dedication” which occurs at 6:00 p.m.
Buffet Dinner, catered by Lia’s Catering, with open bar will start at 7:00 p.m. Limited tickets will be available for purchase for $50 from the Borough Office.
10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
The “Sesquicentennial Passport” will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 starting at 10:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m.
At the end of March 2019, Passports will be available for purchase in the Borough Office for a cost of $4.
This is a special one day program that will unite many locations in the Borough of Upland. We encourage participants to explore and build on the connection between each location.
All participants will visit the borough sites listed in the passport book and receive a “stamp” of their visit. Participating locations may have refreshments and/or handouts.
After all locations have been completed, you must take your passport to the Borough Manager (by 4:00 p.m.) on May 25th, 2019 for verification and to be eligible for entrance into a grand prize drawing – a 65″ flat screen TV – that has been donated by the Upland AC.
The winning drawing will be announced prior to the free “Movie in the Park – Ralph Breaks the Internet” to be held at 7:00 p.m. in Bristol Lord Field.

A FREE Movie in the Park – “Ralph Breaks the Internet” will be held on Saturday, May 25, 2019 at 7:00 p.m. in Bristol Lord Field. Bring a blanket or chair to enjoy this FREE event. All are welcome!
Refreshments will be sold in the Pavilion by the Upland Borough Police Department – all proceeds benefit their annual “National Night Out” held in August.

The annual Memorial Day Picnic sponsored by Resurrection Life Church and Upland Baptist Church will be held in Bristol Lord Field at 6th & Main Streets following the Memorial Day Parade (11:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.). Join us for FREE hot dogs, hamburgers, potato salad, baked beans, chips, drinks, desserts and face painting.

The “Annual July 4th Festivities” for Upland Borough residents will start at 11:00 a.m. in Bristol Lord Field (located at 6th & Main Streets). Please note that you must be a current resident of the borough to participate. Please join us for FREE hot dogs, chips, soft pretzels, water ice, candy and drinks! Entertainment will include a DJ, Face Painting and games (moon-bounces)!

The “Community Affairs Committee” will be having a FREE “Magic Show” beginning at 3:00 p.m. for Borough Youth at MacQueen Hall. Afterwards, a “Pizza Party” and “Ice Cream Bar” will be served. Must show proof of residence to attend!
Dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.)
Fireworks will be held in “Bristol Lord Field” located at 6th & Main Streets beginning at dusk (approximately 8:30 p.m.) on Sunday, September 1, 2019. Borough Roads surrounding the area will be closed beginning at 7:00 p.m. until the Fireworks are completed. Refreshments (hot dogs, soft pretzels, candy and beverages) and glow sticks will be sold by the Upland Fire Company.
“Annual Spaghetti Dinner”
4:00 p.m. – 7:00 p.m.
The “Annual Spaghetti Dinner” will be held at MacQueen Hall located at 224 Castle Avenue starting at 4:00 p.m. through 7:00 p.m. The meal includes: spaghetti, meatballs, salad bar, garlic bread, dessert & beverages. Take-Out is available! Tickets are available at the Municipal Office and the prices are as follows:
- Under 10 – $6.00
- Senior – $8.00
- Adult – $10.00
All proceeds fund the “Community Affairs Committee”.
A fundraiser to be held at MacQueen Hall on Saturday, October 19, 2019. *Limited Tickets will be available*
$30 for advance ticket and $35 at door. This event will be BYOB (and your own food) which will include 10 rounds of bingo with additional cards available for purchase and a bonus round available for purchase, 50/50, and baskets to be raffled off.

“Annual Halloween Party”
4:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.
The “Annual Youth Halloween Party” will be held at MacQueen Hall between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. for borough youth up to 13 years of age. Music, refreshments and prizes for best costume! Must provide your Upland Borough ID card or proof of residence for entrance.

The “Community Affairs Committee” will be having a FREE Thanksgiving Turkey Dinner for Borough Seniors (over 62 years old) on Saturday, November 9th 2019 at MacQueen Hall starting at 6:00 p.m. Borough Seniors that wish to attend must register at the Municipal Offices . The Municipal Office is located at 224 Castle Avenue, Upland and is open Monday through Friday between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:30 p.m.

The members of Resurrection Life invite everyone to come and enjoy a FREE traditional Thanksgiving dinner of turkey, stuffing, gravy, mashed potato, sweet potato, green beans, cranberry sauce and pie. Guests may eat in the dining hall or have their dinner boxed to take home. Transportation and/or delivery are not available. Resurrection Life is located at the corner of Eighth and Church Streets.
All borough residents are invited to join us for the “Annual Holiday Tree Lighting” to be held at Bristol Lord Field located at Castle Avenue and Main Street at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments will be served immediately following the tree lighting ceremony at MacQueen Hall. Santa will also be making an appearance for all borough youth 10 years old and under. In order for Santa to have a gift available, parents/guardians must sign-up their child. Forms will be available in the Municipal Building Office beginning in October 2019. The completed forms must be dropped off to the Municipal Building Office no later than Friday, November 1st 2019.

The shop’s purpose is to provide residents of the local communities with a convenient and caring place to purchase good quality used items at a reasonable cost. These items include clothing for all ages, toys, books, holiday and household items. Proceeds benefit RLC’s Community Outreach Programs and Building Fund projects.
